Database Frontiers
Together with a database expert & founder of Vettabase Federico Razzoli, I am also the co-founder & co-organizer of Database Frontiers – the premier conference for database professionals.
Database Frontiers unites the best database engineers in the world – engineers that are equipped and ready to walk everyone through the weirdest & hottest database issues you will encounter in the wild.
Hacking MySQL: Breaking, Optimizing, and Securing MySQL for Your Use Case
As a result of my work related to databases, I've written a book on MySQL. At its core, the book provides developers with the knowledge necessary for them to break their database instances so they can better optimize it for performance and secure it from data breaches.

BreachDirectory.com
I've been building a data breach search engine since late 2013.
After years of development and learning, the data breach search engine finally came into shape as BreachDirectory.com in early 2018 – nowadays, the project is being used by a variety of individuals and institutions and acts as one of the primary mediums advocating for a more secure space on the web.

Technical Articles
I've collaborated with Severalnines, DbVisualizer, Redgate, dbWatch, Arctype and other companies and individuals providing exceptional quality technical articles and advice.
Information Security Course Management System
In late 2016, I've developed a course management system for a cyber security training company "TOWI."
The entire system is protected by a firewall protecting it from SQL Injection,
Cross-Site Scripting, Cross-Site Request Forgery, and other types of attacks.
The company is using this system to add, modify, or delete courses relevant to cyber security to this day.

Speaking
You will often find me speaking at technology-related events across the globe – I usually cover database or security-related issues, but I am also interested in other topics.
My previous speaking engagements include, but are not limited to Percona LIVE, defCamp, DevTalks, Build Stuff, Big Data Conference Europe, and other events.
Together with a database expert & founder of Vettabase Federico Razzoli, I am also the co-founder & co-organizer of Database Frontiers – the premier conference for database professionals uniting the best database engineers in the world.
Web Application Firewall
In February 2014, I've started building a WAF that protects web applications from a variety of attacks including, but not limited to SQL Injection, Cross-Site Scripting, Cross-Site Request Forgery, Remote Code Execution, Remote and Local File Inclusion, and other attacks.
To this day, the Web Application Firewall has blocked hundreds of thousands of attacks and continues to protect BreachDirectory, my personal website, as well as other applications.
The Web Application Firewall was one of my first forays into information security on the web – and safe to say, it serves its purpose well.
Trigger a rule within the WAF, and your request will be blocked.
Quiet, effective, deadly in terms of blocking attacks when necessary. The firewall can be seen in action on BreachDirectory and other projects.
